Kauai Children's Authors go on Tour

Members of the Kauai Children's Authors Guild will be kicking off their book signing tour at Kauai Mini Golf in Kilauea on April 21st, 2012. If you miss this event, don't worry, there will be numerous signings and events that you will be able to attend and meet Kauai's Children's Authors this year. In fact, the Kauai Children’s Authors Guild will be very active interacting with the community in the coming year and the Guild hopes that the community on will come to recognize and be acquainted with all of its children’s authors. In order to do this, numerous book signings and events will be held across the island. The authors are already scheduled to hold books signings at Na Aina Kai Gardens, NTBG, Kauai Mini Golf, The Princess Kauiulani Keiki Fest, and Talk Story Bookstore. They are also negotiating events at numerous other locations.

Kauai Children’s Authors Guild members will also available to read their books, interact with children, or in Mira’s case, conduct a coral reef building activity in classrooms and other venues.  

Spring and Summer Events:

Saturday April 21^st, 2012 from 1p-3p

Kauai Mini Golf in Kilauea is hosting a group book signing for members of the Kauai Children’s Authors Guild. Local authors will be available to sign copies of their children’s books from 1p-3p. Come and enjoy a round of mini golf with your family and get a chance to meet several of Kauai’s Children’s Authors in one place. Saturday April 28^th, 9am-12p

Kauai Children’s Authors Guild member, Monika Mira will be signing copies of her book, The Complete Hawaiian Reef Fish Coloring Book at Na Aina Kai at their monthly keiki day event on Saturday April 28^th, from 9a-12p. Sunday July 15^th

Kauai Children’s Authors Guild members, Mark Huff, Carol Peacock-Williams, Susan Dierker, Wendy Lewis and Monika Mira will be signing their books at the National Tropical Botanical Gardens in Poipu on their ‘Ohana day from 9am-noon.
